Ann Marie Moyer has resolved to work out nearly every day in 2011. Monday through Friday, maybe even Saturday and Sunday, you’ll see Ann Marie plugging away lap after lap on the track and with her BZ Personal Trainer Lindsay Rothenberger performing strength and toning exercises. It’s easy to make a resolution, a promise to be better or consistent with some aspect of your life. But keeping them is an
entirely different story.

Ann Marie’s resolution solution and strategy for staying focused is already in the works. She’ll continue to use and maintain relationships with the BZ support group of
members and staff who rally behind her every day.  Working out and reaching fitness goals is much better when you have guidance and your own cheerleading section.
The driving force behind her resolution is a pact with her doctor to reach a doable and sustainable weight, and she is 56 pounds away from that number.  “I’m basically healthy right now, but prior to my new life of fitness I was pre-diabetic, hypertensive and suffered from sleep apnea, among other problems,” says Ann Marie.

Ann Marie’s weight loss journey began in 2007. Since then she’s lost 136 pounds. There have been a few setbacks -- a fitness regimen that became stagnant and a knee injury and rehab -- but Ann Marie stayed the course and eventually restarted her path to wellness at Body Zone. She gave herself a fitness membership and a personal trainer for her birthday in February of last year. “BZ’s big building and the potential of what was inside for me and my 7 year old son” was intriguing to Ann Marie. She immediately bonded with Lindsay and developed a new, safe and successful way to workout.  Ann Marie is a motivated resolution-maker. Her commitment to a healthier life has made her feel better and put her in control. She says, “I have the physical and emotional aspects of my life in perspective. Working out makes me happy, and I’mthe only one who can make myself happy in this regard.”
